We collect information in two categories when you visit our web site.

General Browsing

Visitors to the www.egisure.com web site browse the site anonymously. Visitors are not required to provide any personal information in order to access our web site.

D. R. Sparks Insurance Services, Inc. collects general information from each user session, such as the domain you used to access our site (for example, aol.com, or a numerical IP address), the date and time you accessed our site, how long you stayed on our site and aggregate information on what pages you accessed or visited. This information does not include your e-mail address or any other personal information about you. We gather statistical information concerning web traffic and usage patterns. When You Request Policyholder Service Transactions

In compliance with United States federal law, we are providing our customers with this Privacy Notice on how we collect and safeguard the information received from individuals who apply for, or obtain products from us.

Categories of Information We May Collect

For insurance coverage, it is necessary to collect certain types of information to prepare a quote, to underwrite and properly service your insurance policies. Some of the information collected is called “Nonpublic Personal Information (NPI).” NPI is information provided by you and information obtained as a result of the company providing a product or service to you. It does not include information that is available to the general public.

We collect nonpublic information about you from the following sources:

Information provided by you on applications or other forms, through telephone contact with our direct response and customer service units, through discussion with agents who offer our insurance products and products of other insurers and through forms filled out on our web site. From your transactions with us and other insurers whose products we offer. This includes coverage information and premiums, payment history and claims information obtained while processing and settling claims.

From consumer reporting agencies, such as your credit history. This information is used to supplement information otherwise obtained to underwrite and properly rate your policy. It includes information from motor vehicle, claims history and credit reports.

How We Use the Information We Collect

Underwrite and properly rate your policies;

Process your claims;

Ensure proper billing;

Service your accounts and offer you other insurance products that may be of interest to you from our organization and from other insurers through our organization.

We do not provide information to any other organization for their marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

Information Disclosure to Affiliated Parties

Information about our transactions is shared within our affiliates to underwrite and properly rate your policies and to provide better customer service for our products.

Information disclosed to affiliates may include:

Information we received from you, including application information, such as name, address and social security number;

Transaction information, such as information about policy coverage, premiums and payment history; and

Information from consumer reports, such as a credit history.

Information Disclosure to Nonaffiliated Third Parties

In sharing NPI within our organization, our affiliates may share this information with other insurance companies who offer products through our organization.

We may disclose your NPI in connection with servicing your policy, administering a transaction with us, handling a claim, responding to your inquiries, complying with legal requirements and safeguarding against unauthorized transactions and fraud.

As permitted by law, we may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.

Confidentiality and Security

We periodically review our privacy policies and practices in an effort to protect our customers' NPI. Within our organization, we attempt to restrict access to NPI to only authorized employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect your NPI. We also attempt to remain in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Egisure is operated by D. R. Sparks Insurance Services, Inc. which also does business as Egiserve and Millers First Insurance Agency. D. R. Sparks Insurance Services, Inc. is part of the Affiliated Mutual Holding Company group, which also includes Millers First Insurance Company and Millers Classified Insurance Company. Any of the above may directly or indirectly maintain business partner relationships with other insurers and product providers.
